Bistro on the Greens

This restaurant is situated on a beautiful golf course in LaPorte County, Indiana. The menu is soul food, and the chef is a renowned chef from Chicago. The food was simply amazing. We had a reservation, but there was plenty of seating, and they also had shady outdoor seating as well. The chef came out to ask how we liked the food Which was really nice of him to do. This is a place that is family friendly and is it’s also a place that you can go on a romantic date. After we ordered, It did not take long for us to get our food (and they gave us a lot of it too), so much so that we took our leftovers with us. The only issue I have is that someone went into the women’s bathroom and did their business and had the entire bathroom and hallway smelling of it. Thankfully, I was able to get the smell out of my nose by the time my food came. I would definitely recommend this restaurant because the food is great, the location and the views are beautiful and it was nice vibes. The hostess and our waitress were very nice, professional, and helpful. Now the menu is a little pricey, but it’s so worth it. I’d visit again and would recommended two friends.

So happy we tried this restaurant! It was recommended by friends and we finally had a chance to eat here. You will not be disappointed if you love New Orleans style food. Perfect amount of spice and heat. Everyone loved their entrees and we can’t wait to go back again. The service and atmosphere is very good. The food is on par with some of the best restaurants in New Orleans.

Terrific atmosphere and service. It was such a fun and relaxing experience. Incredible food as well. Flavors we’ve never had before. Crab cake was outstanding and the sauce on the surf and turf was delicious. Chef John was so friendly and came out to greet people. He seated us and brought our dishes. Genuinely cared about our experience. We can’t wait to go back.

I'm pleased to say my dining experience at Bistro on the Greens was Absolutely Amazing! The moment we entered I knew we were in for a treat. The food, service, and ambiance was stellar. We had the crab cakes, gumbo, bronzed Salmon, and Pasta - all delicious! The owner(John) was present and extended a kind/warm welcome.😊 I highly recommend this hidden gem and can't wait to visit again.
